These terms apply to purchases from raviolistarfish, operated by Jana Capozzoli Ceramics in Los Angeles, California. By placing an order, you agree to these terms.
one-of-a-kind work
Each ceramic piece is handmade and one of a kind. Small variations, tool marks, glaze movement, and other evidence of the making process are part of the work and are not defects. Product photographs and measurements are intended to be accurate, but screen color and handmade dimensions may vary slightly.
orders, payment & tax
Prices are shown in US dollars. Payment is processed securely by Stripe. Applicable sales tax and shipping are calculated during checkout. An order is accepted when payment is confirmed; if a piece becomes unavailable because of an inventory error, the payment will be refunded.
shipping
Orders currently ship only within the United States. Shipping charges reflect the destination and the packed size and weight of the work. Delivery dates are estimates, not guarantees. The buyer is responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address.
final sale, damage & incorrect items
Because each piece is one of a kind, all sales are final except where applicable state or local law requires otherwise, or when an item arrives damaged or is not the item ordered. If that happens, email info@janacapozzoli.com promptly with the order number and clear photographs of the item and packaging. Keep all packaging while the claim is reviewed. A replacement, repair, or refund will be offered when appropriate and legally required.
intellectual property
Artwork, photographs, writing, and site design are owned by Jana Capozzoli Ceramics or used with permission. Purchasing a piece does not transfer reproduction or commercial-use rights.
liability & governing law
To the fullest extent permitted by law, liability relating to a purchase will not exceed the amount paid for that purchase. Nothing here limits rights that cannot legally be waived. These terms are governed by California law, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections that apply where they live.
